Outside Aircraft Exhibits

The completion of AirSpace has reduced the number of aircraft remaining outside at Duxford. However, there is not enough room for all the residents to go under cover, so some aircraft continue to be at the receiving end of the British weather.

Aircraft Near AirSpace, beside the M-11 Motorway

Beside AirSpace and near the M-11 motorway boundary of the airfield are a collection of small hangars and a building operated by The Aircraft Restoration Company and Historic Flying Limited.  This area is not open to Museum visitors, but aircraft are often visible over the security fence.

Visiting Grumman Goose

Apart from occasional surprises from ARCo & HFL, the most common residents are Broncos, Tiger Moths, Chipmunks, Dragon Rapide and the occasional Harvard.  Any more unusual residents can normally be seen in the news and links page.
