Hangar 3

Hangar 3 is an original 2 bay "Belfast Truss" hangar built in 1918, during the first world war.

On the airfield side, Royston end, is the  home of The Old Flying Machine Company (OFMC)  www.ofmc.co.uk.      On the A505 side is a midget submarine, an ex RNLI lifeboat, a 60ft WW II Motor Torpedo boat and a rare WW I torpedo boat. Also a collection of mainly Fleet Air Arm IWM aircraft.  Parts of the Blenheim, operated by the Aircraft Restoration Company (ARCo) www.arc-duxford.co.uk are resident in hangar 3 while being repaired and reassembled after a severe forced-landing.   Also in Hangar 3 are the HAC Spitfire, Hurricane and Nimrod.
