Hangar 2

 

Hangar 2 is the modern but basic, brown coloured hangar, visible from the Coffee Shop restaurant and close to the A505.

It has a dividing wall down the centre. On the airfield side, is the home of The Fighter Collection (TFC) www.fighter-collection.com. Several long term restorations are underway.  Also, essential maintenance work is carried out on the many flying warbirds in The Fighter Collection.   

The A505 side of the hangar, is used by several organisations including the IWM, The Aircraft Restoration Company (ARCo) www.arc-duxford.co.uk and Historic Flying Limited  www.historicflying.com .  B-17G Sally-B normally undergoes winter maintenance here.
